Busy times in the garden lately, bringing things in before the frost turns everything to a pulpy mess. Here’s a peek at some of the bounty.

A laundry basket full of celery. Celery! In the Rocky Mountains! I planted it almost as a joke, just because I had the seed. Who’d’ve guessed I’d be harvesting a basket full??


Blue potatoes the size of softballs, and bowls and bowls full of tomatoes.



I spent the weekend packing up the hoses, cutting the winter squash, and emptying the bird baths and pots. This year, I might actually have the garden ready for the snow before it snows.
