Every summer, the Sweet Pea looks forward to attending a week-long prairie school with her friend. They meet in a historic one-room school house and play games, learn history, and make things like rag rugs, corn husk dolls, lemonade. And this year she had a new prairie dress to wear to school!
On the last day, the kids do a presentation for all the parents. The Sweet Pea played her interpretation of Fur Elise on the old piano, and then shared her desk with the Peanut to watch the rest of the presentation.
Afterwards, we headed outside for hand-cranked ice cream cones. The Peanut could hardly contain her excitement.
