The wee little tomato sprouts have turned into gangly and awkward teenagers, too big for their current britches, but not quite ready for the big, open garden. In order to buy some time, I potted them up one last time.
Amazingly, I found blossoms on several of the plants. I’ve never achieved blossoms this early before. Apparently I am much better at nursing seedlings when I am not also nursing babies.
Fingers crossed that the snow has ended, that summer days will come, and I can shoo all of my tomato darlings out of the nest in the coming weeks.
