“…the dayspring from on high hath visited us, to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Luke 1:78b-79

I love the idea of Jesus being a dayspring–the light that drives away our darkness; the first light of morning that gives us hope of brighter hours to come.

I finished my Daybreak shawl this week, a gift for a friend who is watching for the light. I pray that it will warm the body and the soul.

Daybreak Shawl by Stephen West, in size small; find yarn details here.
